Who we are

Brit Angels Limited is a software company registered in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

When you contact us we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, company, what you're interested in and your message. If you accept analytics cookies, we also record the pages you visit, the site that sent you, your device type, browser, screen size, language and your approximate location (country, region and city). We look up your approximate location from your IP address and do not store the IP address itself.

Why we use it

We use your contact details to reply to you and to deliver any work we agree (our legitimate interests and, where we enter a contract with you, to perform that contract). We use analytics, only with your consent, to understand how the website is used and to improve it.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run this website: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider (Resend) and a location lookup service. They process information only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact, unless we start working together, in which case we keep project records for as long as needed for the contract and the law. Analytics records are kept for up to 13 months.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, and withdraw consent at any time. To do any of these, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

International transfers

Some of our providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
